A cruise controller has been the subject of software specification studies by Booch and Deutsch, using OO methods. This model, one of the first in tkeden, was built to explore Empirical Modelling methods.
The model demonstrates many features: the speedometer uses a 'graph' to display a variable number of ticks; the hill also uses a graph; the speed shown on the speedometer is not the "true" speed but one determined by a simulated speed transducer; Donald lines specified with polar coordinates in the speedometer.
Of course the model can be changed whilst "running".
