"This project attempts to provide a solution for one of
the main weaknesses of the current EDEN programming system. This weakness
being its inability to manipulate large volumes of data effectively and
efficiently. The objective of this project is to design, specify and
implement a 'front-end' relational language interpreter for EDEN and
provide a 'back-end' interface between EDEN and the ORACLE DBMS. The
language for the manipulation of data will be designed such that the EDEN
concepts of 'definitions' and dependency relationships are inherited as
part of the programming style of the Empirical Modelling paradigm."
This project is the "real" implementation which connects to ORACLE.
