This model illustrates the idea of refining the functionality of a script through the successive interpretation of new states which makes the focus of the model more specific. The first script may define a board structure and its geometry, successive files will introduce the concepts of taking turns, rules of a specific game and considerations of strategy.
These refinements form the cognitive layers of oxoGardner1999. [Chris R]
