This model was developed for the COMICAL project. Users can create their own road layouts, complete with junctions, destinations and traffic lights. Cars can move around the layout with different route planning algorithms. This model could be used in educational settings to investigate aspects of town road planning or different route finding strategies.
The creation of the road layout is achieved by selecting pieces and putting them on a grid (in a similar manner to the ***Virtual Electrical Lab (ref...)***
Development of this model was halted due to a system bug at the time and there are a lot of suggestions for further work in Docs/OUTLINE.txt [Chris R]
