This model builds on the Jugs model (jugsBeynon1988) that is often used to illustrate the EM tools. It simply adds a third jug to the display and allows operations to move water between the jugs. There are more buttons, as pour could be ambiguous about the destination jug if one is full and two are empty. The same type of redefinitions can be made as with the two jug model, including capacity of the jugs and contents. It illustrates some nice aspects of mathematics, including highest common factors. Investigations to teach aspects of these topics are in the EMPress database, element number 50 in Appendix C.
